Operating principles

FREEDCOIN

Payments made between platform participants are carried out using FREEDcoin. FREEDcoin is implemented as a smart contract of the ERC20 standard on the Ethereum network. The emission of FREEDcoin is limited - emission of tokens occurs only during the ICO. Following the ICO, new tokens will not be issued. A portion of the tokens will be placed in a reserve fund for payments. Tokens from the payment fund will be transferred to the wallets of our game publisher clients in proportion to the contribution of their gamers to the amount of computing power. Due to the limited release of FREEDcoin and the constant increase in platform users, the price of FREEDcoin will necessarily and consistently go up.
 

Interest Management

A special feature of the platform is the gamer' reward system, the form of which is chosen by the game producer. He has the right to pay coins (fully or partially) to the gamers or offer them additional award options. It’s important to note that obtaining FREEDcoins depends not only on the efficiency and volume of computing that a specific computer provides, but also on the in-game activity of the online gamer. This feature allows the game publisher to control the interest of the gamers and decide how earned FREEDcoins are used (to sell or use them for in-game purchases).

Software agent

The software agent FREED is integrated in the software code of each game and makes computations within distributed network. The software agent functionally represents a separate node in the FREEDgrid distributed computing network. Task distribution control is performed by the Center for Distributed Computing.

The gamer has an opportunity to join the distributed computing system and expects to be compensated for providing his computing resources under the terms set by the game producer or the gaming platform.

The FREED ICO consists of several phases. Earlier buyers will get FREEDcoins at a lower price. During the Pre-ICO we accept: Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), DASH and Litecoin (LTC). By the beginning of the ICO, we’ll expand the list of currencies, including fiat.
FREEDcoins will be traded on the exchanges as FRD ticker. The issue of tokens occurs as the ICO passes and ends when it ends. Additional emissions of the FREEDcoin token will not be provided and unsold tokens during the ICO will not be issued.
By all parameters of the Howey test, FREEDcoin is a utility token and is not regulated by the SEC as a security.

How will GAMERS be able to connect with the platform and what benefits will they receive?
To participate, gamers will need to install a game which is registered on FREED. Gamers receive in-game valuables, which are determined by the games' publishers, as compensation for making their computers available for distributed computing.
Gamers will be able to receive gaming items and/or advantages for free, which were previously available only for fiat currency.
How can GAME PUBLISHERS participate in the platform and what benefits will they receive?
To participate, game publishers will need to integrate the FREED.Agent software into the program code of the game in order to connects gamers’ computers to the distributed computing network. Publishers receive FREED tokens based on their level of distributed computing.
The game publishers will receive a unique tool to stimulate gamers, as they choose how to distribute compensation to gamers on the FREED platform. The game publisher has the right to fully or partially transfer coins to the gamers or offer them another option as a reward.
The amount of FREEDcoin tokens distributed to publishers is dependent upon the performance and amount of computations that a particular gamer’s computer performs, as well as gaming activity of the individual gamer. This feature allows game publishers to control the interest of the gamers and decide how to use the earned FREEDcoins.
How will FREED.Agent function?
The FREED.agent will be provided as a software library, which developers will build into their game in accordance with its interface and requisite user experience. As a result, the game will have a functionality and interface that allows gamers to participate in distributed computing. There’s also a plan to release a standalone version of the software agent that can be installed by the user to run from browser based games, the appearance of which will also be customized for each specific game.
Who can be a client of the FREED platform?
Any person interested in the cost-effective operation of their applications or high-performance computing by using serverless hosting in a distributed network of the FREED platform can be a client.
How does the FREED platform benefit CLIENTS?
Since FREED will not use expensive server farms installed in specialized data centers for its computing capacity, but instead players' personal computers, the price for FREED's services will be several times lower, while the speed will be several times higher than any available commercial solutions on the market.
What load level will be on the computers connected to your system? Will the user be able to adjust the load level to his PC?
The gamer himself will determine the comfort level of the load at any current moment by smoothly adjusting the value on a friendly user interface. Adjustments can be made from a minimum level, when the computer can be used in parallel for any task, to a maximum level, in which all resources will be given to the FREED system. This setting can be changed if necessary to a more appropriate level at any time. In the future, a "smart" system will be implemented, which will automatically select the optimal level of load, depending on the user’s activity.
